Crystal Bears Women in League

Women in league is very special to all of us at Crystal Bears. It is our chance to combine the things we love the most. Footy, kids and raising money for charity.

Women in league was started 5 years ago as a way of encouraging women to be involved with our great football club. Along the way we have proudly raised over $100,000 for the Joanne Mackay Breast Cancer Foundation in conjunction with Jo's helping hand.

We run several functions throughout the year with our last function being a high tea "ladies day at the footy" held at Win Stadium in conjunction with the NRL's official women in League round. The Dragons wore the pink V jersey which we later auctioned off via the Dragons website.Moneys raised from the day hit the massive $40,000 mark!!!!

Our next function is "A Red & White Christmas" function to be held in the corporate area of the new Win Jubilee oval on Saturday 28th. November 2009. Come along and celebrate the season that was and the coming Christmas period with many Dragons players to be in attendance. More info will be posted on this site as it comes to hand. Stay tuned!!
